Welcome to Elysium Cove

Letter from the Staff:

Greetings,

       We would like to thank you for your interest in Elysium Cove, we have strove really hard to bring you one of the best Second Life experiences on the grid. We wished to bring you something Visually impressive as well as functional. The staff here have worked tirelessly to bring you the best and most stable lore we can while adding in our own flavor.

     We don't want Elysium to be just another sim to you, we strove to make this a home for all Modern Supernatural Role-players. As such we've done a lot of the work for you and given you the tools you will need to succeed on this sim.

     Again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

- Staff

Our Home is interesting;

It is quite interesting our home here in the Cove. Our winters are brutal, summers beautiful, but the world is changing isn't it? Back in the eighteen hundreds we were a simple port town - we had maybe two hundred people back than. What a sight we were to behold. Bringing in fresh lobster's and everything the ocean could give. It was really our oyster.

What changed? Well, the world moved on and we found out that the things that went bump in the night were real. Lycans, Vampires, Fae, mythical beings, the undead, zombies. Everything we had was turned on its head. This caused so much chaos and unneeded death, and this was back in Ninety Five. It turned this town into so much chaos, neighbor turning on neighbor, disappearances. It was a brutal time for this town. Something we all try to forget, but it is a pox mark on our history.

Than the winter of ninety eight happened, which knocked out power to half of the state for more than two weeks. That was a horrible times, but it saw one thing come of it. The local were's, the fur walkers. They came from their wood cabins and down from the hills and with them hey brought supplies.

We all thought they were gypsies that lived up there, you know, the Romanian kind? But no they came down. Some say the winter and those two weeks is what it took to unite the shifters that lived up there to band together to help the town. That was one of the greatest things that happened during that particular decade.

Now a days though, the hunters, and not the kind that hunt animals for sport but the kind that hunts shifters... Its a shame really, and all cause that Harry boy, one of the former mayors kids, claimed he got bit, That was almost six months ago now.

An the new mayor? They're a Vampire, voted in too, did a damn good job campaigning for the position. It was strange at first, but they have a degree in politics and so far have gotten a lot of things done, including bringing in traffic back to our lazy little port town.
